Healing Skin Balms
A
balm is defined as any fragrant ointment that heals
and mitigates pain. With that in mind, these aromatic healing
skin balms (Face Magic, Plain Magic, Varicose Magic, Viral Magic, and Ow-is
Magic) were formulated to not only benefit the skin by creating a
barrier to moisture loss and a medium for allowing the essential oils to
penetrate but also allow them to be used as perfume. Because of the
solid consistency they can be used on the face during the day without
looking oily. Simply get some out of the jar with your finger or the
back of your fingernail, rub it between your fingers or palms until it
warms up and melts, then apply it to the skin. Some people choose these
skin balms by the scent of the ingredients rather than what they were
formulated for.

FACE MAGIC
is a rejuvenating, anti-wrinkle, moisturizing skin balm. This emollient
balm is specially formulated for cell-regeneration using an ancient
Egyptian combination of oils to rejuvenate the skin. It has a deep,
exotic scent that can also be used as perfume anywhere on the
body. As a side benefit, most of the essential oils in this blend are
also aphrodisiac in nature.

MAGIC is an antiseptic,
anti-viral healing skin balm. Though especially good for herpes
lesions, it can be used on the whole face or anywhere on the
body as a deliciously scented moisturizing
perfume. It can also be applied with a Q-tip to the inside of the
nostrils, especially before bed, to
prevent
the inside
of the nose from drying out and little fissures from forming where virus
and bacteria could enter. It has a slightly sweet citrusy scent with some
deeper notes.

OW-ie
MAGIC is an antiseptic,
anti-fungal skin balm that is formulated to treat rashes, scrapes,
itching, insect bites, pimples, and can also be applied just inside the
ear with a Q-tip. Use a very small amount. It works in dogs’ and cats’
ears, too. The scent is clean, reminiscent of camphor but less pungent,
and has a relaxing effect.

Astringent
MAGIC is an astringent,
healing skin balm for use on varicose veins, spider veins and as an
after-shave moisturizer. This formula has a lemony scent that is good
not only for treating varicose and spider veins but can be used anywhere
on the body, including hemorrhoids (which are also varicose veins).
It
makes an excellent after-shave astringent moisturizer. The scent is
citrusy/woodsy.
